The Weka or Woodhen (Gallirallus australis) is a flightless bird species of the rail family and endemic to New Zealand...

...Blah Blah Blah...

That’s what Wikipedia has to say about the Weka - but who cares!
Here’s all you need to know:

The Weka is a cheeky little bugger. It’ll sneak up on you and swipe anything you leave lying around, as long as it’s tasty and appealing. So it’s a good thing that when you come into the Purple Weka Cafe, we keep the birds at bay so you can enjoy some time out, great coffee and satisfying kai in our comfortable cafe. You can even enjoy a drink if you feel like one because we’re also licenced... (to thrill)!

Oh and in case you’re wondering... don’t worry, unlike the Weka, we won’t pinch your leftovers. In fact we’ll be surprised if there’s anything left once your done with what we’ll serve up for you.
